Michael Newman is an NYC-based writer and performer who was born in Corpus Christi, Texas. He produced Destiny and Peter, a pilot of a web series that was screened at the 2018 Official Latino Film and Arts Festival (NYC and Coachella) and nominated for Best New Media. He is proud to be a part of Plant Moms, one of the ensembles of BoogieManja, an NYC-based sketch comedy collective whose shows can be seen on Twitch.tv/boogiemanja.
